HOLIDAY FOR UNDER 3s

?Where should we take our toddler on holiday?? is THE hot topic at cafes and playgroups all over Clapham. How long a flight can we risk, what do we do about food, they?re too young for kid?s club so will there be enough to keep them entertained or will I need my own break after our family holiday?!

Spanish destination Caser?o del Mirador http://www.caseriodelmirador.com/ is the creation of Johnny & Sarah Robinson and the holy-grail of holiday destinations for those travelling with under 3s.? The Robinson?s moved to Spain in 2003 and have created a perfect family-friendly holiday spot around their family home.

Guests stay in 5 self-contained apartments (3 x 1 bedroom, 2 x 2 bedroom) all of which come with their own bathroom and kitchen facilities and are equipped with everything you need to make your stay just that little bit easier.? According to the ages of your children you?ll find bouncy chairs, playmats, books, toys, plastic plates and cutlery, changing mats, cots, baby monitors and highchairs.

Delicious meals are freshly prepared by Sarah and made from wonderful sun ripened local ingredients.? Kid?s tea is served communally and is great if you?re weaning or have a slightly tricky eater on your hands: there is nothing like the sight of someone else devouring a plate of green beans to get your little one interested.

Adults can choose to eat together as a group (pop baby to sleep and head upstairs with your monitor) or have meals (and wine) brought to your apartment, allowing you a great combination of cosy dinners together and a chance to feel like you?ve had a night out, without straying from the main house grounds.

There?s a swimming pool, sandpit, climbing frame, swing, trampoline and more toys than a toddler could begin to play with in a week.??? And let?s not forget the four-legged residents, who are arguably the star attraction here.? The pigs, goats, rabbits, ponies & cats all revel in the attention and Beryl (pig) relishes the nightly visitors bringing her food scraps.

You could easily stay here a week and not leave the grounds, but you?d then miss out on some of the regions great beaches and bustling towns.?? Sarah and Johnny have plenty of tips of where to go and where to eat, plus with plenty of beach mats, bucket ?n? spades, buggies and pack-backs to borrow, it really is little effort to explore.?The local town of Jalon is a short 10 minute drive down the mountain and the nearest beach at Calpe is just 25 minutes away.

For summer 2012 prices start from ?1000 for 7 nights in a 1 bedroom apartment.?? For further information visit www.Caseriodelmirador.com or email enquiries@caseriodelmirador.com
