Southern Michigan Knows: Movie Review: "Here Comes the Boom"

"Here Comes the Boom" is a movie about a slacker high school teacher who needs to raise big money by the end of the school year to help out a colleague. He has no means to earn any significant cash until he?discovers that even the losers in Mixed Martital Arts (MMA) fighting get paid. He wrestled in college (20 years ago) and thinks he might have what it takes to earn enough money to solve the financial crisis. Good story--somewhat humorous--with?a few?good lines and a few?decent fight scenes. 3 out of 5 stars.

Premiere Theater in Hillsdale MI shows new release movies like "Here Comes the Boom" on 7 screens and is located just 6 minutes from the Munro House B&B in Jonesville. Daily movies shown late afternoon and early evening. Weekend movies include matinee and late night shows.
