PLANO ? Holy Yoga Women?s Retreat: Addressing Women?s Female Issues is set for March 23 through 25 at the LaSalle Manor retreat center in Plano.

Certified master holy yoga instructors will lead a retreat designed to help women, 18 and older, learn about their reproductive systems and how to heal their bodies through education, yoga postures, massage and more in a Christian setting.

The retreat will serve women who wish to understand the relationship between the female anatomy and psycho-social well-being. Women?s issues include menstruation, post-partum, pre-menstrual syndrome, hysterectomy, prolapsed uterus, abuse and trauma.

Gina Tricamo, one of the retreat facilitators, said that ?while most women experience normal female physiological functions, many do not understand their own anatomy or how certain activities or trauma may affect their psycho-social well-being. The retreat is intended to facilitate healing and to enhance already healthy individuals.?

Activities at the retreat will include Holy Yoga classes, Bible study on women?s issues, workshops on the pelvic floor and major muscles involved in that area, breakdown on the female anatomy, healing service and prayer. The goal is to experience freedom, restoration and healing for all participants.

Certified master holy yoga instructors will guide participants in yoga classes, Bible study, educational workshops, prayer, personal reflection, small group and worship to explore the healing of female issues in Christ Jesus. Previous experience with yoga is not required.

Registration is at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Dinner starts at 6 p.m. The retreat concludes at 2:30 p.m. Sunday. The fee of $295 covers lodging, meals and instruction. Check out the retreat center at www.lasallemanor.org.
