I have been looking around at the deals that are on offer for the latest and greatest of the new Android handsets for my relative who is getting an S3.
As with most geeks, I am the on call support for friends and family for anything related to technology- be it fixing their phone, computer, broadband?.etc.? One of my relatives is looking to move to android, so I did a quick spy of all the deals and this is what I came up with based on his questions, but I thought I would share it with you as well!
What are the key features you will love?
- Amazing screen?size of 4.8inches ( bigger and more beautiful than Iphone)
- 8MP camera that can shoot pictures while doing video.
- Eye Movement recognition so will not switch off if you are reading
- Latest Android Software
- quad core processor ( FAST!!)
- Good battery
Which colour? 
Both colours have the same specifications but I think the blue looks prettier.? There has been a problem with the blue devices manufacturing back covers, so they are going to be hard to come by for the next few weeks.? The white colour is out now.
Which Memory size?
It comes in two variants,16GB, and 32 GB ? don?t bother with the 32 GB unless you have to carry all your music with you.? Better to get a Spotify account and then change your music regularly and get the latest tunes.
Deals:
Carphone Warehouse: 28 quid per month, loads of apps, music and games ? Carphone Warehouse Samung Galaxy S link here
Three ( and best all round plan) : 34 quid per month- nothing to pay for phone 2000 minutes and unlimited data
Best Support: ( but pricier): Vodafone:?41 quid gets you 900 minutes and 2gb internet
Best Coverage: O2 but they have gone heavy on their pricing charging 51 pounds+ handset cost.? Don?t go for anything less than 1GB of data.?? Would advise to stay away until they fix this.
