Business Development Manager Retail with Conference and Banqueting
Salary: ?45,000 - ?55,000 + bonus
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible a budget of 6 million this is a very unique venue. Selling one of the country`s largest Conference & Banqueting venues you will come from a very large retail organization or 5* hotel with massive conference and banqueting multi site operation. This is a multi site featuring catering outlets, bars, a hotel and function rooms varying in size - you will be selling functions for up to 22,000 people!
The Position
Business Development Manager for a well known venue
Pure proactive and reactive sales and with main focus on business development
Working alongside the Venue GMs as well as Sales Teams on site
Working with new, future and existing clients - high visibility position
Carry out sales calls and setting up appointments on relevant market segments including site visits, presentations and reviews
The Person
Solid background in a business development role on the conference, retail, hotel and catering market
Excellent relationship builder with both Client and Customers
Outstanding business acumen and driving business forward constantly
Target and result driven and love KPI`s
Enjoys talking to people and outgoing personality
Well presented and excellent negotiation skills
A 'Can-do' attitude
